Rev Ho has all the character qualities that a preacher should have. He truly loves God since his seminary study, a person who is passionate in Bible studies, always well prepared and takes his sermons seriously. He is a humble servant who always take in my feedback. During our first 15 years of marriage, I always gave him feedback, encouragement and affirmation after all his preaching. Although we have been married for 37 years, I still enjoy listening to his preaching and able to sit quietly throughout the entire session.
He is gifted with teaching and preaching, that blesses the lives of others. He often gets invited by other churches to preach during his early days. However, he has declined the invitations ever since he started his pastoral service with Mega CMC in 1997. He prefers simplicity and doesn’t like conflict. Always stays focussed and driven by his work.
Rev Ho is very enthusiastic in his pastoral work. He is always busy preparing his sermons when there is no occasion for the day and listening to sermon during holidays. We are very good partners in church ministry. He trusts me and gives me the opportunity to excel. Some people think that his personality is not suitable to be a shepherd however under God’s guidance, he managed to establish a full-time co- worker team that eventually earns respect from everyone.
Rev Ho has a lot of life experience when dealing with people issue. He will never gossip among deacons, never create conflicts and never fight back if someone attacks him. He will keep those people in his prayer. This is absolutely admiring.
May God continue to cherish and bless him for the rest of his journey.
